MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTORS

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our website. We encourage you to take some time to explore our ministry, and we also welcome you to visit us in person.

We are a growing, vibrant, full-gospel church located in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. It is our desire to see people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be established in kingdom principles. We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We have been privileged to see God's miraculous power heal, deliver, and set free the sick and oppressed.


We are excited about God's plans for Lock Haven, Clinton County. One of our deepest passions is to also support and bless missions around the world. Please join us as we help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And we also have an exciting news update to share:

Since the spring of 2010; we have begun quite a renovation process in our old 1870's church building. We are hoping by the end of this year to have our Sunday morning church services in a newly renovated upstairs sanctuary. Over the last several months, we have had to replace the steep roofs, as well as do a lot of electrical work, install more bathrooms, and begin work on new flooring and lighting for the upstairs sanctuary and balcony. We are very excited about this growing project, and also look forward to preserving the wonderful history of this church building.

Pastors' Biography
Pastors John and Lynn Snyder have been pastoring the House of the Lord Fellowship Church, which they helped found in 1981, since August of 1988. They reside in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, and they have two daughters Sarah and Hannah.

Pastor John was born in Paris, France. He graduated from Lock Haven University of PA, Magna Cum Laude. Before becoming a pastor, he taught in public secondary schools for seven years and was the principal of a K-12 Christian Academy for three years. Pastor Lynn grew up in Bethlehem, PA and graduated from Hood College in Frederick, MD. In 1995, she was ordained a pastor.

Pastor John has ministered in many churches and college campuses throughout the East Coast; he also ministered in churches throughout Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Poland, England, Scotland, Mexico, Russia, Israel, Kenya, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa.

He is the author of six books including Renewing a Right Spirit (new 2010 publication), Where Are the Nine?, Writing the Vision, Fishers of Men, Having Begun in the Spirit Teaching Notes, and Having Begun in the Spirit (which has also been translated into French, Dutch, and Arabic, as well as a pending translation in Spanish). He is currently serving as the president of the Southern Clinton County Association of Christian Churches (SCCACC). He is also a campus minister of Full Gospel Fellowship at Lock Haven University of PA, and a board member of the Roanoke Mission Outreach in Roanoke, Virginia.

Pastor Lynn frequently ministers with Pastor John in Europe, and when she is not traveling with him, she takes care of "holding down the home front." Pastors John and Lynn Snyder also give oversight to churches in Pennsylvania, Belgium, and Scotland.
